Tropical Swimwear Collection

A tropical bikini is the one pattern that never really leaves swimwear — palm leaves, big flowers, colour that looks alive against a tan. The trick is a print that stays elegant instead of turning into a souvenir shirt.

Kate Kingdom makes two pieces in the same tropical print: a one-piece and a bikini. Both are designed near Zurich and produced in limited editions rather than mass-manufactured.

Tropical bikini and one-piece, one print

Tropical bikini or one-piece?

The Tropical One is the one-piece that started the print: a low scoop neckline, thin elastic cording straps in a matching colour and high-cut legs that lengthen the silhouette. The Tropical Two is the two-piece version, with a distinctive neckline at the bottom of the top — the same print, the same family, a different amount of coverage.

Tropical bathing suit, swimsuit or bikini?

Depending on where you live, the same thing is called a tropical bikini, a tropical swimsuit or a tropical bathing suit — in one piece or two. On this page you will find both versions of the print, so you can compare them side by side rather than guessing from a single photo.

Fabric, sizes and care

Both pieces use a knitted textile base that stretches with the body, dries quickly and holds its shape after salt water and sun. Available in sizes S to L. Rinse in cold water after swimming and dry flat, out of direct sunlight — a printed fabric keeps its colour far longer that way.
